‘Disinformation Governance Board’ Head Trolled For Singing Videos

Videos of Nina Jankowicz, who was appointed to lead the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board, singing have gone viral on Twitter.

In one video, Jankowicz is heard singing a version of Mary Poppins’ “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” about “information laundering”.

“You can just call me the Mary Poppins of disinformation,” she tweeted in February, 2021.

“Information laundering is really quite ferocious. It’s when a huckster takes some lies and makes them sound precocious,” Jankowicz sings.

“By saying them in Congress or a mainstream outlet, so disinformation’s origins are slightly less atrocious,” she continues.

“It’s how you hide a little, hide a little, little, little lie, it’s how you hide a little, little lie, it’s how you hide a little, little, little lie,” she adds.

“When Rudy Giuliani shared bad intel from Ukraine. Or when TikTok influencers say Covid can’t cause pain. They’re laundering disinfo and we really should take note. And not support their lies with our wallet, voice or vote – oh!”

Human Events host Jack Posobiec also shared videos of a younger Jankowicz singing Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog song “My Eyes” with the caption “I saw it so you have to see it”.

“This is who the government is trying to put in charge of regulating YOUR speech,” said Sen. Ted Cruz.

“This can’t be real. But it is…” tweeted The Hill columnist Joe Concha.

“I’d like to apologize for this on behalf of all theater people,” said author and columnist David Marcus.

Many Twitter users have also found up old tweets of Jankowicz’s including one that said “Back on the ‘laptop from hell,’ apparently- Biden notes 50 former natsec officials and 5 former CIA heads that believe the laptop is a Russian influence op. Trump says ‘Russia, Russia, Russia'”.

On Wednesday, Jankowicz tweeted that she was “Honored to be serving in the Biden Administration @DHSgov and helping shape our counter-disinformation effort”.
