Psaki Unable To Answer Questions Regarding Bias Of Disinforation Board

After launching the “disinformation governance board” that the Biden Administration didn’t see as necessary until Elon Musk bought Twitter, Jen Psaki appears unable to answer questions pertaining to the new department.

The Daily Caller reported, White House press secretary Jen Psaki claimed to have no information Thursday on the new head of the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board

Psaki’s empty-handed response was made when questioned about the possible bias of the board’s executive director, Nina Jankowicz. The executive director has a history of praising disinformation herself. Jankowicz refuted the Hunter Biden laptop story and praised the author of the non-credible Steele dossier used to fictitiously link Trump to Russia.

“How can you assuage concerns of people who are looking at this person who’s been appointed to this position and wondering if she’s going to be able to accurately judge misinformation?” Asked Jacqui Heinrich with Fox News.

Psaki responded by saying “What I can tell you is that it sounds like the objective of the board is to prevent disinformation and misinformation from traveling around the country, and I don’t know who this individual is, so I have no comment on it specifically.”

It doesn’t seem that the objective of the board is to prevent the spread of disinformation, given the history of its director. Rather it seems that the board’s purpose is to prevent the spread of information harmful to the narrative of the administration.

The very creation of such a board seems like a step toward a dystopian fascist society. Fascists are obsessed with narrative control – oftentimes nationalizing the media and orchestrating reports.

This however is an outdated tactic. Instead, now what happens is every piece of information, true or false that is harmful to the progressive narrative is labeled as disinformation. After this label is attached to the information, it is disregarded without actually analyzing it to discover if it holds any truth.

Allowing the government to be the arbiter of truth eliminates free thought.
