2 days after the shooting of Daunte Wright in Brooklyn Center Minnesota, the Uninvolved police chief and the police officer who shot the motorist resign from their duties.
“We have to make sure that justice is served, justice is done. Daunte Wright deserves that. His family deserves that,” Brooklyn Center’s mayor Mike Elliott said.
The mayor said that he was already pushing were already being made to fire Potter, and he hopes that her resignation will alleviate tensions.
