During a Senate hearing about DC statehood on Tuesday, Democratic Mayor Muriel Bowser, falsely said there was only one day of rioting over the summer.
Republican Senator Ron Johnson was the one who questioned Bowser at the time.

He asked, “Madame Mayor, can you answer the question. Do you have an estimate of the property damage during the summer riots?”
“I know that we had one night of rioting in the district in the summer,” Bowser said.
This is easily disproven as there were several months of rioting in DC due to the George Floyd race riots and even the January 6 Capitol Building Riot.
May 26, 2020 marked the first of many events of civil unrest.
