Rowling does not believe that transgender women should have access to women’s restrooms. Women need to feel safe in the bathrooms designated to them.

As a result of her remarks, she claimed that trans activists threatened to beat, rape, assassinate, or bomb her.

Last year the famed author tweeted, “I respect every trans person’s right to live any way that feels authentic and comfortable to them,” she continued, “I’d march with you if you were discriminated against on the basis of being trans. At the same time, my life has been shaped by being female. I do not believe it’s hateful to say so.”

Adding “The idea that women like me, who’ve been empathetic to trans people for decades, feeling kinship because they’re vulnerable in the same way as women — ie, to male violence — ‘hate’ trans people because they think sex is real and has lived consequences — is a nonsense.”

And finally concluding, “If sex isn’t real, there’s no same-sex attraction. If sex isn’t real, the lived reality of women globally is erased. I know and love trans people, but erasing the concept of sex removes the ability of many to meaningfully discuss their lives. It isn’t hate to speak the truth.”

She even wrote an essay that embodied her quarrels with the movement.

Rowling is correct, and her viewpoint is not irrational. Because she logically articulated her beliefs threats on her life were made. Rowling also had the actors of her films turned against her publicly.

According To Yahoo, Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Eddie Redmayne all denounced her remarks regarding the issue and encouraged people to learn more about the transgender movement.
