After inviting Lt. Col. Allen West to speak at an event called “America Is Not Racist – Why American Values Are Exceptional”, a University of Buffalo student says that she was hunted down by a woke mob shouting “no justice, no peace”.
Therese Purcell is the President of the campus ‘Young Americans for Freedom’ club. She claims that she wanted only to open dialogue on campus and allow conversations to happen.
Purcell said that after the event was seized by an angry mob, she became afraid of what might happen if she was unable to hide from those chasing her.
“I realized I was the target for these protesters, and about 200 of my fellow students started hunting me down on campus, started chasing me,” she said, also noting that she heard protestors yelling, “go get her, go get her, go capture her, the girl in the red dress.”
Allegedly the protestors chased her into the bathroom, where she then hid for hours. She had initially been with West and a police escort, but she became separated.
The University of Buffalo Police Department is investigating reports of harassment in relation to the incident.
