The screen actors guild, that had begun making an effort to remove Donald Trump, received a letter of resignation from the former  President.

Buzzfeed describes the letter as “outstandingly petty” however, the letter simply detailed exactly why Trump no longer wished to be a member.

He explained how the union was not helping him, or its other members. The “guild” simply exists to push policy desired by its leaders.

The labor union has previously sought to expel him after the January 6th siege of the Capitol, knowing well that the former President had nothing to do with the attack.

The Union claimed:

“Donald Trump attacked the values that this union holds most sacred — democracy, truth, respect for our fellow Americans of all races and faiths, and the sanctity of the free press – There’s a straight line from his wanton disregard for the truth to the attacks on journalists perpetrated by his followers.”

Trump has condemned these riots time, and time again. But just like white supremacy, his repeated condemnation means nothing and will be swiftly forgotten.

When Trump jumped first, and resigned before they could remove him, they simply responded with “Thank You”. Quite petty.
