Biden Alludes That Ukraine Should Surrender Territory To Russia

Joe Biden has suggested that Ukraine should have to surrender part of its territory to Russia in order to end the war between itself and its neighbor.

When asked if Ukraine should cede territory Biden responded by saying “It’s their territory. I’m not going to tell them what they should and shouldn’t do. But it appears to me that at some point along the line, there’s going to have to be a negotiated settlement here.”

The President refused to take ceding territory off of the table. “And what that entails, I don’t know. I don’t think anybody knows at the time. But in the meantime, we’re gonna continue to put the Ukrainians in a position where they can defend themselves,” he continued.

Many, including Joe Biden, seem to think that Putin intends to re-establish the former Soviet Union, though it remains unclear exactly what his motive is. It very well could be the strategic acquisition of land rich in natural resources.

President Zelensky of Ukraine said in March, “The territorial integrity of Ukraine should be guaranteed. That is, the conditions must be fair, for the Ukrainian people will not accept them otherwise.”

This week, during an interview with Newsmax the Ukrainian President  once again stated “We’re not ready to concede any of our territories, because our territories are our territories: It’s our independence, our sovereignty; that’s the issue.”
