The Black Lives Matter Global organization has become notorious for corrupt handling of finances – they’ve been caught once again
Fox News reported, that The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation dished out nearly $4 million in consulting payments to its board secretary, co-founder Patrisse Cullors’ brother, and the father of Cullors’ child.
BLM Global Network, the movement’s primary nonprofit, paid $2.1 million to Bowers Consulting, a firm run by Shalomyah Bowers, the foundation’s board secretary, between July 2020 and June 2021, according to tax forms the BLM Global Network Foundation provided to the Associated Press.
In April, Indiana’s Attorney General, Todd Rokita, launched a legal battle against the Black Lives Matter organization over the abusive use of donations.
Much of the organization’s spending is unknown because they fail to report it, causing several states to have levied tax penalties against them. Some spending however is known. It was revealed that the organization purchased a $6 million residence in California that they refer to as “campus”.
BLM has also funneled money into other organizations owned by the wife of its co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, which was then used to purchase a different multi-million dollar home. Around this time Cullors suddenly resigned from her position with BLM.
