The CDC has recently announced that vaccinated persons will no longer need to wear masks indoor or outdoors.
It has been over a year since our country was shut down, and mask mandates set in. The psychological weight has been overbearing on the shoulders of American citizens.
Progressives have become regressive. They are not satisfied with the new CDC guidance. They want to encourage Americans to get the vaccine, but find allowing vaccinated individuals to return to normalcy unacceptable.
This, is the opposite of progress. This is progress backwards. A true progressive would strive forward. Attempting to restore every day life in America. Instead they desire to conserve the pandemic.
The Daily Caller wrote: “Progressives and medical experts immediately criticized the new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mask guidelines, arguing that the alteration was extreme and would be harmful to certain parts of the population. Others said the new guidance is confusing and disincentivizes people to get vaccinated.”
These “progressives” failed to elaborate on how exactly providing incentives to vaccinated people would disincentivize others to get vaccinated.
The only critical error in this plan is that it will likely lead to a reality where vaccine passports are necessary. Otherwise it would be impossible to determine who is vaccinated and who is not
