Federal Government Explores Options To Provide Abortions In States Where It Is Illegal

The federal government is reportedly investigating methods to provide aid to women seeking out-of-state abortions. The government would essentially be aiding and abetting state crimes if the plan was carried out.

Fox News reported, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra revealed that the federal government is exploring a range of options to support the ability to get an abortion, including possible access across state lines for women traveling to seek the procedure.

The long-standing Roe v. Wade precedent was overturned only weeks ago, and the Biden Administration is already working to overstep and meddle in state affairs.

The overturning of Roe v. Wade made abortion a state issue rather than a federal one. Now each state can make its own abortion laws in any way the legislature sees fit.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez suggested that the government should build abortion clinics on federal lands, while New York Governor Kathy Hochul suggested that military bases should be used to provide abortions.

Any and all of these options would be a complete and utter undermining of state law and would render it effectively pointless, taking the power right back away from the states.
