If you were the father or mother of a young child. Perhaps in kindergarten, would you want that child to learn “comprehensive sexual education”? Would the child even understand the concept?
According to Fox News:
“New York State Sen. Samra G. Brouk, a Democrat who represents western parts of the state, introduced a bill this year that would “ensure all pupils receive, as an integral part of education in grades kindergarten through twelve, comprehensive Sexual Education”
Public Schools in New York can currently decide for themselves the level of sexual education they want to provide students beyond certain requirements around HIV/AIDS but this bill would establish a universal curriculum for kids as young as five.”
While improved sexual education is needed in public schools, is the best option to introduce it to children in kindergarten?
Kindergarteners likely wouldn’t even be able to retain the information provided to them and actually grasp the concept of sexual education.
