A CNN analyst, Dr. Lena Wen has claimed that Americans who choose to remain unvaccinated should have their freedoms curtailed.
Wen claims that getting vaccinated “should be the easy choice” of course, not by making vaccines physically easy to obtain, but my making it hard to be unvaccinated.
The analyst said that those who choose to opt out should be required to fill out more forms, and to be tested twice a week.
According to OAN this is not the first time that a CNN analyst has shared rhetoric encouraging of forced vaccines and curtailed freedoms.
If all other employees at a company were vaccinated, why would it be important to test the one unvaccinated worker twice a week? This would simply be a waste of resources and a futile attempt to push an out dated and incorrect narrative.
Many are still clinging to the pandemic narrative as disinformation regarding the delta variant is spread. The CDC said in a statement “People who are fully vaccinated are protected from severe disease and death, including from the variants currently circulating in the country such as Delta.”
This indicates that a personal choice to remain unvaccinated will not effect those who have chosen to protect themselves. It only will effect those who have not.
“People who are not vaccinated remain at risk. Virtually all COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths are among those who are unvaccinated.” The statement said.
