Religious leaders are finally speaking out against Joe Biden, the devout “catholic” who supports abortion.
The Daily Caller reported, San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone emphasized Sunday that Catholics have a duty to challenge pro-abortion politicians like President Joe Biden and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Late Wednesday night, the Supreme Court ruled 5-4 to deny abortion providers’ requests to block Texas’ new law banning abortion after 6 weeks. Both Biden and Pelosi issued statements condemning the Supreme Court ruling and the Texas law and promising to take action to reverse the pro-life legislation.
Biden recently claimed that he “respects” Americans who believe life begins at conception, though he doesn’t agree.
This is odd because as recently as 2015 Biden’s public views on abortion were completely inverse.
“This summer, we provoked an uproar by discussing whether public officials who support abortion should receive the sacrament of the Eucharist,” the Archbishop wrote in an opinion piece for the Washington Post.
He claims that he has been told he inappropriately injects his religion into politics “where it does not belong.” Though he sites other religious leaders who have injected their religion into politics resulting in triumphs of human rights.
He cites Joseph Rummel, a former New Orleans archbishop who ordered an end to segregation.
Cordileone seems to feel as though abortion is one of those pressing human rights issues.
Despite what President Biden may believe, life does begin at conception. This is a biological fact, not rooted in religion.
This fact is irrefutable, and is why we refer to conception, as “conception. Something is conceived, a unique human individual.
