After long scrutiny and criticism Kamal Harris will finally visit the border nearly 6 months after entering office.
The New York Post wrote, “Vice President Kamala Harris will visit the border this week amid the historic surge of illegal immigration under her watch as border czar, more than three months since she was tapped for the role, her office confirmed to The Post Wednesday.”
“Harris, chief spokeswoman Symone Sanders said, will travel to El Paso, Texas, on Friday alongside Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.”
This comes just as Floridia Governor Ron DeSantis dedicates law enforcement to help aid border states during this crisis.
Senator Ted Cruz ripped into Harris on twitter insinuating that her actions have been in massive neglect of the current crisis.
After her interview with Lester Holt where she was bartered on this topic, the Vice President was left with no other option but to declare her intentions.
“We’ve been to the border. So this whole thing about the border, we’ve been to the border,” VP Harris said, to which Holt contended, “You haven’t been to the border.”
This effectively trapped Kamala. She only could respond by saying that she also hadn’t been to Europe, and laughing off the unfunny situation.
