In Montgomery County Virginia, a school board member fled a meeting after being confronted by a maskless photo of herself.
During the meeting, a parent used images from the board member’s personal Facebook page to show how hypocritical she was. This is yet another instance of COVID fanatics using the doctrine “rules for thee, but not for me.”
“We sat here last year and listened to you guys preach about Gov. Northam’s executive orders and how we must follow them,” a parent said.
Now that Governor Glenn Younkin has been duly elected, school boards push back on executive orders that allow parents to choose whether or not their child has to wear a mask in school.
“Here’s a governor who comes into office, but yet you don’t want to follow his orders,” the parent added. “Here’s a picture of you, right here, on Facebook with a crowd of people with no mask on,” as she showed the image on her phone.
“If you are going to sit there and disparage a member of our school board, then you can sit down,” the board member in reference said just before requests that officers remove the parent was made.
Another board member joined the conversation in defense of the parent “She should be allowed to say her piece, I’ve had to listen to people come and criticize me.”
Really, the interjecting board member was not defending the parent at all, but rather defending the parents right to free speech at a public meeting.
Allegedly, a heated exchange between the two board members directly followed. Not long after, the pro-mask board member stormed out of the room like an upset child.
