Gavin Newsom the Governor of California, a man who has been no stranger to carelessly violating COVID recommendations decided to dine out with George Lopez in Fresno county Friday
This is Significant because Fresno county is a purple zone. With a very high COVID case rate. It is recommended that all non essential businesses remain closed, and restrict indoor dining.
While many of you reading this article, would be against such restrictions and oppose them, Gavin Newsom supports them. It is important to hold him to the standard of his own rhetoric.
Not only was Newsom caught dining out in Fresno, he posted about it on Twitter. Based on obtainable information it does not appear to be illegal to dine out in Fresno, it is highly discouraged.
We see Newsom yet again claiming a standard should be upheld by his citizens and then directly going against that standard himself.
the idea of “Do as I say not as I do” that is fundamental to being a democrat. If Newsom actually believed what he claims, he would practice what he preaches. But this is not the case.
