DC Mayor Orders ‘Cuba Libre’ Mural Destroyed While Making BLM Mural Permanent

In front of the Cuban embassy in Washington DC protestors painted a mural that read “Cuba Libre” on the street.

Mayor Muriel Bowser wasn’t having it. Her administration had the slogan removed. This removal was so swift that it took only days.

“The ‘Cuba Libre’ painting on the street was unauthorized, so DPW crews power washed to remove it,” Erica Cunningham, the public information officer for D.C. Public Works, told the Washington Free Beacon.

The Cuban embassy is located on the same street where Mayor Bowser ordered the Public Works Department in June of last year to paint “Black Lives Matter” in response to racial unrest following the death of George Floyd.

Fox News Reported

Many find it ironic that Bowser ordered the painting of “Black Lives Matter” on the street, but at the same time ordered the removal of the Cuba mural.

During mid July, the Mayor even decided, that “Black Lives Matter” plaza would be permanent.

The organization, Black Lives Matter, with their symbolic yellow coloring presumes that America is racist. That systems are in place that intentionally oppress and discriminate against people of color. To presume such a thing, is to presume that America is evil.

Their symbolism lawfully exists in America’s Capitol under orders of the capitols mayor.

Let’s recap. Protestors built a mural that presumes America is racist. That monument was made permanent in America’s capitol city. A similar monument standing against oppression and symbolizing freedom was ordered to be destroyed.

Democrat leaders act astoundingly anti-America, and pro-oppression. They constantly defend tyrannical communist and socialist regimes all over the world, blaming others for the atrocities committed by these foreign governments.
