Colin Kaepernick Hopes Book Will Radicalize

Colin Kaepernick has been a controversial character ever since he first took a knee during the national anthem.

Recently he has launched his own publishing company. One of the first books published will be one that urges readers to consider adopting an idea set that advocates for the abolition of the police and prisons.

The name of the book is “Abolition for the People: The Movement for a Future Without Policing & Prisons” the book, is a conglomerate of essays edited by the famous football player.

Kaepernick says that he hopes the book will radicalize readers. “Readers won’t find all the answers here, but we believe they will find useful and provocative questions – questions that can open up radical possibilities for a future where our communities can thrive,”

But who’s communities thrive without policing and prisons? How can a society thrive of law enforcement is not present? Who is to stop violent crimes? Who is to stop non violent crimes?

Who would be sent if someone were to break into Colin Kaepernick’s home and rob him at Gun point? After apprehension, where would this thug go? Prisons do not exist in Colin’s ideal society. Would the perp go to a rehabilitation center for home intruders?

Kaepernick believes that the “central intent of policing” is to “terrorize, capture and kill” marginalized populations, specifically blacks.

If this were the case, why would the police initiate contact with millions of straight white men each year? Why would thousands of white straight men be sent to prison? Why would the police even exist in areas where there are not minority populations above 5%?

The answer is clear. The purpose of the police is not to terrorize minorities. Their purpose is to enforce laws, and maintain order. Without them, chaos would ensue.
