Following an alleged assassination attempt on Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, a group of pro-choice activists gathered outside the home of Justice Amy Coney Barrett on Thursday.

While holding signs and waving flags, the group walked up and down the street chanting.

“Your neighbor says post-Roe, we say hell no!” and “Hey-hey, ho-ho, the handmaiden has got to go!” they said into megaphones.

The day before, protesters marched in front of the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh after a California man who had threatened to kill him was arrested.

Nicholas John Roske, 26, was carrying a gun, a knife, and zip ties, according to police. He was charged with attempted murder of a Supreme Court Justice.

Roske reportedly told police he was upset about the draft and the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, where 19 children and two adults were killed.

He also said he believed Kavanaugh would vote to loosen gun control laws, according to a criminal complaint.

Protests and threats against Supreme Court Justices have increased in recent weeks in response to the leaked draft opinion suggesting the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday that the House will vote next week on legislation to expand security for the families and staff of Supreme Court justices.
