Psaki Blames Republicans When Asked About Record Inflation

Jen Psaki has once deflected the consequences of Biden’s administration onto Republicans.

The Daily Caller reported, White House press secretary Jen Psaki blamed Republicans’ opposition to Biden’s Build Back Better plan when a reporter asked Friday about high inflation.

A reporter asked Psaki about President Joe Biden’s plan to pass the $1.75 trillion Build Back Better plan as Democratic West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin continues to push back on its passage due to high inflation rates and its cost.

Psaki immediately took to criticizing Republicans who have pushed back on the bill. Psaki claimed that the build back better plan will actually lower inflation.

On the other hand, Manchin who is a Democrat cites rising inflation as one of the key issues not to pass the bill. He has in the past referred to it as “the definition of fiscal insanity.”

“You saw every single Republican in the House vote against Build Back Better. What were they voting against? Yes, they were voting against the president’s agenda, they were also voting against lowering costs,” Psaki said without explaining how the provisions in the bill actually reduce the cost of products.

Manchin argued Monday that putting more money into the economy will simply “flood the market”.

“The unknown we’re facing today is much greater than the need that people believe in this aspirational bill that we’re looking at, and we’ve got to make sure we get this right. We can’t just continue to flood the market, as we’ve done.” The Democrat congressmen said.

Manchin advocates for careful planning rather than spontaneous change while inflation rests at the highest it has been in forty years.
