The Biden Administration has redefined the word “recession” despite the fact that many Americans believe a recession is here due to two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth.
According to the Daily Caller, A majority of respondents to the NBC News poll (74%) felt that the country is headed in the wrong direction, with 56% disapproving of President Biden’s handling of the economy. Respondents also overwhelmingly feel that the U.S. is already in a recession (68%).
Another topic Americans had strong opinions on was the “inflation reduction act” which the congressional budget office projects will have “negligible” effects on the status of inflation.
According to the poll, 35% of those asked indicated that they feel the bill would make their situation worse, and 36% felt it wouldn’t make a difference to their current situation.
The bill doesn’t actually do anything to reduce inflation, instead, it focuses on healthcare, climate change, and taxes.
The bill dedicated $400 billion to climate change proposals alone. To put this into perspective, $400 billion is roughly 3.33 times more than the U.S. spent on the Vietnam war from 1965-73.
The bill also gives $80 billion to the IRS which will help the government organization hire new agents.
The blue party often disguises bills with names that insinuate they will grant something that the American people truly want, like effective infrastructure or inflation reduction.
These bills tend to, in reality, be climate change or equity bills disingenuously named something that they are not.
Penn Wharton Budget Model, a group of data scientists and economists based at the University of Pennsylvania said that the impact the bill will likely have is “statistically indistinguishable from zero.”
The poll also inquired about opinions on the Democrat party as a whole. It found that 16% viewed the party as somewhat negative, and 35% saw the party as very negative.
61% of people polled said that there were issues in America that make them so upset that they’d hold a protest to address their grievances for an entire day.
The results aren’t looking so hot for the Democrats. These attitudes will certainly show at the polls.
58% of respondents said that they feel America’s “best years” are in the past, this is quite surprising considering how large the progressive wing is.
Half of everyone surveyed indicated that they feel in the future, their financial situation will get worse.
Perhaps now the American people will acknowledge the weight of their vote. In 2020 the democrat philosophy was “vote blue no matter who,” which clearly had dire consequences.
