Dominion Voting Systems on Friday filed a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News, alleging that the network purposely aired false claims about the company’s role in the 2020 presidential election in order to boost ratings.”

Perhaps these defamation suits, will urge news Outlets to be more careful when airing news that may not be true.

Dominion is alleging that Fox  “sold a false story of election fraud in order to serve its own commercial purposes, severely injuring Dominion in the process,” according to the lawsuit obtained by the associated press.

Fox News said to The Independent: “FOX News Media is proud of our 2020 election coverage, which stands in the highest tradition of American journalism, and will vigorously defend against this baseless lawsuit in court.”

Dominion calls Fox News’ election coverage “an orchestrated Defamation Campaign” with “enormous and irreparable economic harm”

CNN also covered the lawsuit, seemingly throwing stones while living in a house made of glass.
