While continuing her vacation in Florida, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was seen at a packed Miami bar in videos shared Sunday.
The viral video shows the crowd, most of whom were maskless, applauding the congresswoman as she waves to them.
Brendon Leslie, the reporter who first tweeted the video, said “For those of you with zero sense of humor: the whole point of this post is to expose hypocrisy”
“We don’t actually care she’s maskless. We care she fear mongers about Florida but then has the audacity to vacation her,” he added.
Ocasio-Cortez was recently dragged for spending time maskless in Florida after constantly criticizing other leaders. She was seen at a restaurant in Miami without a mask while New York faces record-high COVID cases and mandates.
The Team DeSantis Twitter account wrote “Welcome to Florida, AOC! We hope you’re enjoying a taste of freedom here in the Sunshine State thanks to @RonDeSantisFL’s leadership”.
The congresswoman claimed Republicans who criticize her are motivated by “sexual frustrations” over not being able to date her.
“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general,” she tweeted.
Leslie added another tweet, saying “PS: @AOC I’m posting this because you’re a lying hypocrite and NOT because I want to sleep with you”.
