Kamala’s Border Trip WAS Influenced By Trump

After more than 90 days, Kamala Harris has finally made her trip to the US-Mexico border in El Paso Texas.

CNBC wrote, “Vice President Kamala Harris made her first visit as vice president to the U.S.-Mexico border on Friday, where she toured immigration facilities and met with young women.

Speaking to reporters after her tour, Harris said the border trip reinforced the need to address the root causes of the surge in undocumented migrants from Central America.”

In reality, the “root causes” of migrant surges are not a legitimate priority for America. Certainly this would be important if it was a behavior displayed by American citizens, but it is not. These are citizens of another country the Harris concerns herself with as Americans struggle due to her failure to secure the border on our end.

“The lack of economic opportunity, very often violence, corruption and food insecurity,” Harris claimed. This seems like a policy issue that needs to be resolved by those who govern these nations.

In a statement earlier this week former President Donald Trump issued a statement which claimed that Kamala would have never scheduled a border trip if he, and Governor Greg Abbott had not done the same prior.

A spokesperson for Harris said, “This administration does not take their cues from Republican criticism, nor from the former President of the United States of America. We have said, over a number of different occasions and the vice president has said, over the course over the last three months, that she would go to the border. She has been before. She would go again. She would go when it was appropriate, when it made sense.” She said.

CNBC however reported that the Vice President’s trip to El Paso specifically was influenced by none other than Donald Trump.

After neglecting the border for so long, and waiting for cues from the Former President El Paso residents were fed up. Protestors met the VP at the border shouting “Go back.” One woman said “We don’t need you parading at the Border Patrol station or acting like you care”
