Rand Paul Requesting Criminal Referral On Fauci From DOJ

After a heated exchange between Senator Rand Paul and Dr. Anthony Fauci, things get serious.

The Daily Caller reported, Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said Tuesday he would send a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) requesting a criminal referral of White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.

The criminal referral would be for lying before congress, which is a felony punishable of up to 5 years in prison. The announcement came on Fox News’ Sean Hannity Show Tuesday.

The intense line of questioning between the two included, COVID specifics, truth-telling before congress, and even the origins of the virus.

Paul is accusing Fauci of lying specifically about gain if function research and what it its relation to coronavirus.

Paul argued that if the transmissibility of a virus was to increase from animals to humans, then it would be “proof of gain-of-function”

“Sen. Paul, you do not know what you are talking about, quite frankly and I want to say that officially. You do not know what you are talking about,” Fauci quipped back.
