Cubans are protesting, and fleeing their nation for one reason: Communism has destroyed their country, devastated its healthcare system, and eviscerated freedoms through harsh authoritarianism.
Jen Psaki refused to call out the failing economic system, but instead danced around the truth when describing the situation.
The Daily Caller reported, White House press secretary Jen Psaki would not say definitively that Cuban citizens were fleeing the island nation due to the communist regime.
Psaki hedged around the issue by saying that Cubans were “opposed to the oppression, to the mismanagement of the government,” but she stopped short of saying that the communist regime was the reason for the oppression and mismanagement.
Another Biden Administration Official, the U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas himself, is a Cuban immigrant who fled the collapsing nation in 1960.
Here he remains, a high ranking government official. He now uses his power to tell today’s Cuban refugees that they are not welcome in America.
“Allow me to be clear: If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States.” He asserted.
Mayorakas knows first hand what is happening in Cuba, not that the U.S. has the resources to sustain an immigration wave, it is ironic that he chooses to tell Cuban refugees to stay home, being that he is one.
