House speaker Nancy Pelosi claims that Republicans like Mitch McConnell are “cowards” who care more about their political career than protecting the constitution.
Trump has been acquitted in a senate impeachment trial for a second time now. This trial just as insane as the last, Pelosi is not happy that her plan failed once again.
Odd that words like these would come from someone like Nancy Pelosi who has brought about two baseless impeachment’s with the sole purpose of smearing a political opponent.
“What we saw in that Senate today was a cowardly group of Republicans who apparently have no options, because they were afraid to defend their job, respect the institution in which they serve,” Pelosi claimed.
Pelosi gave her thanks to impeachment managers, but claimed she keeps hearing that ‘Justice has failed’ from her grandchildren. As if the opinions of her grandchildren matter in a court of law.
There was no “Justice” to be had in this trial. The outcome was very cut and dry. They claim impeachment against Trump for ‘inciting insurrection’ in his January 6th speech, even though in his speech he specifically reinforced the idea of “peacefully making your voices heard”
This has been his rhetoric all along. But the democrats and Pelosi believe that if the continue to tell the public the opposite, they will believe it eventually.
Pelosi is a master manipulator, and a deceptive politician. She will stop at nothing to drag her opponents and get what’s she desires.
