“A wedding venue in Virginia is suing Gov. Ralph S. Northam over recent coronavirus orders that limit the number of guests for private event venues.

The lawsuit, which was filed by Belle Garden Estate earlier this month, is targeting the governor’s Executive Order 72. According to the ABC-affiliated news station WSET the venue argues that provisions in the order discriminates against wedding event spaces.”

The law prohibited gatherings that exceed 10 people indoors and 25 outdoors. The order included wedding style events.

Unfortunately, regardless of COVID people are still going to need to get married. In some cases, it is financially necessary. But who wants a wedding when your closest relatives are barred from attending?

Perhaps the couple already has 3 children. Their guest list is cut down to only 5 extra people, one of which would have to be the person actually marrying the pair. No aunts, no uncles, no best friends. No bridesmaids, no groomsmen, or best man.  No flower girl, no ring bearer. Siblings may even have to be cut out of the picture.

Biden has boated about100 million Americans being vaccinated. This number comes out to roughly 1/3 of the United States total population, and yet you still cannot have a gathering exceeding 10 people in Virginia. Even if alt guests are vaccinated.
