Are New Yorkers Starving? Never fear. Governor Kathy Hochul, the replacement of shamed former Governor Andrew Cuomo has used $2 million of taxpayer dollars to renovate an office in a Buffalo building owned by a  major campaign contributor.

The New York Post reported The extensive renovations on the fifth floor of the mixed-use building at 95 Perry St. in Buffalo’s historic Cobblestone District began shortly after Hochul replaced tarnished Andrew Cuomo as governor in August and continued through this past April, records show.

The renovations granted the governor quicker access to a balcony, which required certain walls to be demolished, also expanding the size of the office.

Hochul has not been elected by the people at this time. She simply assumed the position of the governor after Andrew Cuomo resigned. Previously she was the lieutenant governor of the Empire State.

Now, she seems to be levying her power to gain favor with major campaign donors so that she can ensure her first victory and be democratically elected as leader of the state.
