Is There a Border Crisis? Biden Officials Are Conflicted

Biden remains lenient on illegal immigration, and refuses to acknowledge the crisis at the border. Now, members of his own administration have become stake towards his attitude.

Biden’s President of the National Border Patrol Council Brandon Judd, told Fox News, “A week ago I would not have called this a crisis. Today it meets the definition. We are overwhelmed. We do not have the resources to stop the cartels from bringing in illegal aliens, from bringing in drugs, therefore we are in fact in a crisis,”

Fox News also reported:

“A senior official with Customs and Border Protection, who spoke on condition of anonymity, echoed Judd’s sentiment. “The president understands it is a crisis, which is why he told migrants ‘Don’t come over,'” the official told Fox News.”

Even Jen Psaki, Biden’s press Secretary slipped slipped up and referred to the situation as a “crisis” after Biden officials rejected the term.

“There have been expectations set — outside of and unrelated to any vaccine doses or request for them — that they would be partners in dealing with the crisis on the border,” Psaki claimed

Shortly after when confronted by another reporter, she back tracked and referred to the situation as a “challenge” rather than a “crisis”

The situation is clearly a crisis, and members of Biden’s Administration understand that. They refuse to refer to it as a crisis, in order to maintain the facade of leniency towards illegal immigrants.
