Criminal Investigation Against Andrew Cuomo Dropped

As expected, Governor Andrew Cuomo has weaseled his way out of a criminal investigation into his alleged sexual harassment.

The Daily Caller reported, ALBANY — An upstate district attorney’s office is dropping its criminal investigation of sexual harassment allegations against Andrew Cuomo — shutting down the last of five criminal cases involving the disgraced ex-governor.

“After a thorough review of the available evidence and applicable law, the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office has concluded that there is not a sufficient legal basis to bring criminal charges,” said Oswego County District Attorney, Greg Oakes.

Though enough evidence to prosecute Cuomo on the basis of Sexual Assault against Virginia Limmiatis does not exist, he is not exonerated according to the Oswego County DA.

The 55-year-old Limmiatis first came forward after having heard the Governor proclaim that he had never inappropriately touched anyone. The woman worked for National Grid in Syracuse at the time of the alleged assault. According to her, it happened at a 2017 conservation event in Oswego.

According to the Post, Oakes also said in a statement that after 20 years of special victims cases, he believes Virginia Limmiatis accusations. He stressed that the lack of charges should in “no way” cast a positive light on the former governor.
