Caitlyn Jenner former candidate for California Governor and Olympic gold medalist has joined Fox News as the newest contributor.
“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience,” FOX news media CEO Suzanne Scott announced on Thursday. Jenner will first appear as a guest on “Hannity” with Sean Hannity on Thursday.
“I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to FOX News Media’s millions of viewers about a range of issues that are important to the American people,” she said.
Caitlyn Jenner has a unique perspective on many issues, most notably the issue of biologically male Transgender women competing in women’s sports.
Jenner is not only an Olympic gold medalist but also a transgender woman who was born a male. Jenner did however win her medals while identifying as a male. When it comes to trans athletes, nobody is more of an expert on the topic.
The former gubernatorial candidate has come forward to put her two cents in on current events regarding transgender swimmer Lia Thomas who recently became NCAA 500 freestyle women’s champion.
Jenner has taken the stance that Thomas is not the winner, but rather Emma Weyant who finished second is the champ, sideline with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
“By allowing men to compete in women’s sports, the NCAA is destroying opportunities for women, making a mockery of its championships, and perpetuating a fraud,” DeSantis said.
Jenner replied, “@GovRonDeSantis agreed! She is the rightful winner!” Jenner tweeted. “It’s not transphobic or anti-trans, it’s COMMON SENSE!”
