Rudy Giuliani Suspended From Practicing Law citing “incredibly serious misconduct”

New York’s former Mayor, Rudy Giuliani has been suspended from practicing law in Washington DC, and two weeks ago in New York.

NPR wrote, A Washington D.C. court has suspended the law license for Rudy Giuliani, former President Donald Trump’s attorney, just weeks after New York similarly took action against him.

Giuliani’s law license will remain suspended in the nation’s capital pending the resolution of his case in New York, according to the D.C. appeals court.

This suspension comes as a result of false claims made by Giuliani while attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election. These claims were described as “knowingly false and misleading factual statements to support his claim that the presidential election was stolen”

Some of these claims alleged that “famous heavyweight boxer Joe Frazier continued to vote years after he was dead,” in reality this claim does not have legitimate merit or factual backing.

Rudy claims that the “election fight is over” therefore the actions taken in New York are unnecessary.

Democrats were very quick to hop on twitter and ridicule the attorney as the event unfolded.
