More private self-recorded footage of Hunter Biden has surfaced. This time, the President’s son is depicted naked with an illegal handgun and a prostitute.
Just as Hunter’s father, the President of the United States calls for a ban on certain firearms the discovery of this clip highlights the problems in his idea. Hunter is a perfect example of a criminal obtaining a weapon even when the means to obtain it was illegal.
Hunter is depicted in the 2018 video with his finger on the trigger and even points the weapon at the camera. It’s unclear whether the firearm is loaded, but it doesn’t matter. Any responsible gun owner knows to treat every gun as if it were loaded and to never put a finger inside the trigger guard unless shots are intended.
“Before proposing or passing any new federal gun legislation the Biden administration ought to enforce existing laws, regardless of who is violating them, even if that person is the president’s son,” said Senator Ronnie Johnson (R).
In terms of the legality of the weapon, the New York Post reported, In order to make the purchase, Hunter Biden answered “no” to a question that asked, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?” Politico reported last year.
Hunter and his father respectively have been open about his drug addiction and the struggles that it entailed. Even if they were not, a plethora of photo evidence has been released that clearly shows Hunter engaging with hard drugs illegally.
Because he lied on the forms to obtain his gun, Hunter Biden’s weapon was illegally obtained through fraud.
