During a Wednesday speech in Massachusetts President Biden told the crowd that he has cancer. During the speech, the President discussed the health effects caused by emissions from oil refineries in
“That’s why I and so many damn other people I grew up with have cancer and why for the longest time, Delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation,” He explained.
When the Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to the White House to confirm if Joe is suffering from cancer or not, they were referred to a Washington Post fact checker discussing the Presidents’s medical history, rather than getting a clear answer.
The article explained that Joe Biden has never had colon cancer but has had several non-re-occurring and non-melanoma skin tumors removed from his body. Based on this information, unless Biden was referring only to the few skin tumors he’s had removed that are not the result of refinery emissions this quote must be a gaffe.
Biden’s medical report indicates that in his youth the president spent a significant time in the sun. This is the cause of his few tumors that were removed prior to his presidency. These few cancers had nothing to do with emissions and currently, he has no areas that are suspicious for skin cancer according to the report.
