This dash cam video shows Georgia police officers being shot at by a suspect who has been identified as Pier Shelton, wielding an AK-47.
The police had previously been in a high speed chase with Shelton prior to the shooting.

Shelton was able to fire several shots into the officers squad car before being shot dead in the street.
3 officers were injured in the shooting. A spokesperson for the department noted that “it could have been a lot worse”
If it was not for these courageous officers, Shelton may have harmed citizens and other police officers alike.
