In a recent White House briefing, press secretary Jen Psaki refused to explain why migrants coming across the border are not required to be vaccinated but American workers are.

Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy questioned Psaki about the new vaccine mandate that requires businesses that employ over 100 people to ensure workers are vaccinated or test them weekly.

If a business fails to follow the mandate, they can face up to $13,600 in fines per violation.

During the briefing, Psaki said “Our objective is to get as many people vaccinated across the country as humanly possible, and so the president’s announcement yesterday was an effort to empower businesses, to give businesses the tools to protect their workforces. That’s exactly what we did”.

When Doocy asked why migrants are not required to get vaccinated compared to businesses with 100 or more employees, Psaki simply answered “That’s correct” and moved on to the next question.

Approximately 30 percent of illegal immigrants housed in federal detention facilities at the border are refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

More than 18% of immigrant families who recently crossed the border tested positive before being released. Reports show that 20% of unaccompanied minors at the border have also tested positive.
