Newsom Receives $2 million From Teachers Unions for their 1 Year PAID VACATION

Governor Gavin Newsom has received $2 million in campaign donations from teachers unions. These donations will help him in his effort to defeat the recall election. This comes after the Governor effectively provided these teachers with over one year of paid vacation at the expense of California’s tax payer.

The Washington Examiner wrote, Although Newsom is favored to beat the recall effort, the polling has narrowed, with star conservative commentator Larry Elder jumping into a race already populated by California powerhouses such as former San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and former Olympian Caitlyn Jenner. Just as the polls have tightened, the teachers have swept in to save the day, with the California Teachers Association giving Newsom’s campaign a whopping $1.8 million a day after Weingarten’s AFT pitched in a quarter-million dollars.

With these three candidates who are so popular, and unique in their own respects it will be interesting to see how the election turns out.

Gavin Newsom is a widely criticized Democrat candidate with a political background and history as governor of the state.

Caitlyn Jenner is a transgender candidate and father of the Jenner sisters. Jenner is a Republican who prioritizes lgbtq issues but has no career history in politics.

Larry Elder is a conservative political commentator and radio show host that has also never held office but has a vast knowledge of issues at hand. Elder however, jumped into the race late.

Each candidate has their own benefits and flaws (some more than others) weighing on them that will contribute to the election outcome in September.
