It’s no secret that Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York plays dirty politics. Over the last few months we have heard countless tales, but the story keeps growing.
The Daily Wire claimed:
In a New York Times report titled, “Uprising Grows Over Cuomo’s Bullying and ‘Brutalist Political Theater,’” it was alleged that the New York Governor had threatened to publicly liken a opponent to a “child rapist.” In the latest New York Times podcast, an audio recording of this conversation confirms these previously-denied allegations to be accurate.”
From members of his own staff, to the people he governs, even Democrats want Andrew Cuomo gone. He is a poor leader who leads with fear.
“If you ever say, ‘Well he’s better than a Republican’ again, then I’m gonna say, ‘You’re better than a child rapist.’ How about that?” Cuomo said in a phone conversation according to an NBC report.
It is however odd, that the governor threatens to liken an opponent to a sexual criminal, when he himself would later be accused of sexual misconduct.
Cuomo’s political career appears to be coming to a swift close. Scandal after scandal plagued the office of New York’s governor. It’s unlikely he can sustain it.
