After indirectly firing tens of thousands of healthcare workers who refused to comply with mandates, President Joe Biden has deployed military doctors to assist in domestic settings.

Fox News reported, President Biden is deploying military doctors and health care workers to bolster hospitals amid the spike in omicron variant cases. But in the last few months, thousands of health care workers across the nation have been terminated over refusing to comply with vaccine mandates, leaving health care providers in the lurch with staffing shortages while bracing for more patients.

At least 1,000 military medical personnel have been tasked with staffing civilian hospitals according to the president. One might think that during a time of alleged medical crisis, hospital staffing would be maximized, not dramatically cut without a legitimate reason.

“FEMA is deploying hundreds of ambulances and EMS crews to transport patients. We’ve already deployed emergency response teams in Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New Mexico. We’re ready to provide more hospital beds as well,” Biden said during a call with the National Governor’s Association.

New York’s fresh governor Kathy Hochul has declared a state of emergency due to the Omicron variant. The National Guard has been deployed to aid nursing homes in their fight against the virus.

It is also a possibility that over-packed hospitals in New York may be ordered to completely halt elective procedures and focus only on COVID-19 cases.

In New York alone, more than 30,000 healthcare workers have been forced out of their profession after a vaccine mandate was implemented by former governor and alleged sexual predator Andrew Cuomo.
