Indiana AG Takes BLM To Court Over Improper Spending Of Donations

Indiana’s Attorney General, Todd Rokita, is launching a legal battle against the Black Lives Matter organization over the abusive use of donations.

Fox News reported, that Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita filed a lawsuit against activist group Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLM) on Thursday. The suit is Rokita’s latest move in his investigation of the group’s finances and use of donations.

Much of the organization’s spending is unknown because they fail to report it, causing several states to have levied tax penalties against them. Some spending however is known. It was revealed that the organization purchased a $6 million residence in California that they refer to as “campus”.

BLM has also funneled money into other organizations owned by the wife of its co-founder, Patrisse Cullors, which was then used to purchase a different multi-million dollar home. Around this time Cullors suddenly resigned from her position with BLM.

Cullors seems to have put on a show, raked in millions of donated dollars, taken those dollars for herself, and then abandoned the project to live out a life of luxury.

It’s easy to find places where BLM has allocated millions to bettering the lives of its higher-up employees – but finding where BLM has allocated millions to improve the black community as a whole proves to be a harder task.

“BLM has concerning patterns of behavior & we’ll do what it takes to get to the bottom of it on behalf of generous Hoosiers who have donated to them,” Rokita tweeted.
