Andrew Cuomo’s youngest daughter, Michaela has long been outspoken on her beliefs and now, her sexuality.
On a live stream Michaela Cuomo came out as “demisexual”. She explained that this sexuality resonates the most with her.
According to her, being demisexual means that she is only attracted to those which she has “an emotional bond with” this seems to be the case for most humans.
It would seem that this sexuality is not uniquely attracted to any sex or gender, making it nearly the same as pansexual.
“When I was in elementary school, I feared that I was lesbian. When I was in middle school, I came out to my family and close friends as bisexual. When I was in high school, I discovered pansexuality and thought, ‘That’s the flag for me.’ And I’ve recently learned more about demisexuality, and have believed that that identity resonates with me most,” the Governor’s daughter said.
Last month, the demisexual 23 year old came out as queer on Instagram but has since changed her identity.
