After comparing the NFL to the slave trade, Colin Kaepernick is once again attempting a place weasel his way into the league.
The New York Post reported, “That I can help make you a better team,” Kaepernick told WXYZ Detroit when asked what his message was to NFL teams. “I can help you win games. I know right now the situation likely won’t allow me to come in and step into a starting role. I know I’ll be able to work my way to that though and show that very quickly.
“What they don’t want you to understand is what’s being established is a power dynamic,” Kaepernick said while comparing the NFL to the brutal trade. “Before they put you on the field, teams poke, prod, and examine you searching for any defect that might affect your performance. No boundary respect. No dignity left intact.”
“To the teams that have questions, more than anything I’d say I’d love to come in for a workout, I’d love to sit down with you and have that conversation about how I can help you be a better team.” He said. At this point Colin has been out of the league for 6 years.
He alleges however that every day he trains hoping for an opportunity to join a roster. “For The past 5 years, I’ve been working out and staying ready in case an opportunity to play presented itself. I’m really grateful to my trainer, who I’ve been throwing to all this time. But man, do I miss throwing to professional route runners. Who’s working?? I will pull up” Kaepernick said in a recent Tweet.
Why would Colin ever want to play football in the NFL, if he felt as though his coaches and team staff were doing nothing more than using him as a slave?
Former slaves likely did not continue to perform their chores every single day, hoping for an opportunity to return to their master one day.
This is where it becomes very obvious that Kaepernick’s activism is nothing more than an attention-grabbing joke.
