These Celebs IGNORED Mask Mandates at the Super Bowl

Several high-profile celebrities were seen maskless at Super Bowl LVI on Sunday, despite California’s mask mandate and the NFL’s rules.

The Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals faced off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

The Super Bowl required that attendees provide proof of full vaccination and be masked at all times, but many celebrities were spotted without masks.

Social media was quick to point out Jay-Z, Charlize Theron, LeBron James, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, all of whom were maskless without eating or drinking.

Twitter users also pointed out that children in California are still forced to wear masks at schools, and some are even forced to eat lunch outside despite weather conditions.

Outkick.com’s Clay Travis tweeted “Here’s the video of every celebrity without a mask during the Super Bowl. But every kid in California will have to be wearing them tomorrow in school”. “They must all be holding their breaths the entire game”.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was recently criticized for not wearing a mask to a Rams game. He responded by saying he holds his breath when he removes his mask for photos.

Garcetti was seen again at the Super Bowl without a mask while talking to friends.

Ellen Degeneres posted a photo of herself maskless, which drew criticism because her show still requires guests to wear one.

Photos circulated on Twitter of children in the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra who were forced to wear masks while the adults around them did not.

Health officials in California had announced that the indoor mask mandate would continue until Feb. 15. Once the mandate is lifted, children in schools will still be required to wear them.
