The man, whose identity has not been revealed, is allegedly in his 20s and was picked up by police on a nearby street.

He did not make it onto Kavanaugh’s property in Montgomery County.

U.S. Marshals and the Montgomery County Police Department are handling the investigation, Fox News reported.

Kavanaugh and other Supreme Court justices have been the center of negative attention following the leaked draft opinion suggesting the overturn of Roe v. Wade.

Days after the leak released by Politico, pro-abortion protesters were seen marching to the homes of Justices John Roberts and Kavanaugh.

Outside Kavanaugh’s house, protesters chanted “no uterus, no opinion!” and “we will not go back!”

He is one of the five justices Politico reported had already voted to overturn Roe.

When asked about protests outside a justice’s home, former White House press secretary Jen Psaki said “I think our view here is that peaceful protests — there’s a long history in the United States in the country of that”.

“We obviously want people’s privacy to be respected. We want people to protest peacefully if they want to protest. That is certainly what the president’s view would be,” she explained.
