Left-leaning rapper, Lil Nas X, power-bottomed Satan in a new risque music video to promote his new “Satan Shoes” sneaker line.
On March 29 the shoes will be released to 666 customers for the price of $1018 and they’re modeled after “Nike Air Max ’97.”
These numbers are generally seen as evil and blasphemous to the Christian faith as Luke 10:18 references the Devil falling into hell after being exiled from Heaven in the Holy Bible, and 666 represents “the number of the beast.”
The sneakers will also showcase the demonic pentagram on its tongue and have one drop of human blood in the sole.
X’s inspiration for the song, according to his tweet, was dedicated to his 14-year old self.
His tweet started with, “I wrote a song with our name in it. it’s about a guy I met last summer. I know we promised to never come out publicly, I know we promised never to be ‘that’ type of gay person, I know we promised to die with the secret, but this will open doors for many other queer people to simply exist.”
