American Airlines Apologizes Over Pilot With ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Sticker

American Airlines went viral on Twitter after apologizing to a woman who complained about a pilot because his luggage had a “Let’s Go Brandon” sticker on it.

The woman, who has since made her Twitter account private, tweeted a picture of the sticker and asked the airline if they accept “cowardly rhetoric on their crew luggage when they’re in uniform”.

“We are not the only passengers who noticed and were disgusted,” she added.

The airline’s official account responded to the complaint, saying, “Thank you for bringing this to our attention and we want to get this to the right team. Please DM any additional details”.

According to the New York Post, the woman shared alleged “direct messages with representatives for the airline, who assured her that her complaints had been forwarded to the proper authorities for internal review”.

“We take this very seriously and have sent this over to crew leadership,” the airline said in their response. “They will handle this internally after review. We assure you appropriate internal review will occur”.

The complaint has drawn criticism from other Twitter users. Journalist Mollie Hemingway said “Hope he and everyone else gets a raise for having to deal with Karen passengers such as this one”.

Christina Pushaw, the press secretary for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, tweeted “This pilot deserves a raise for dealing with entitled Karens while doing his job”.

“Don’t fire your pilots for being conservative or criticizing Biden,” Pushaw added. “We won’t have any pilots left. As if the thousands of flight cancellations aren’t enough already. @AmericanAir do the right thing”.

American Airlines has also been criticized for allowing crew members to wear “Black Lives Matter” pins in the past.
