His father, Greg McMichael was found guilty of felony murder, and William “Roddie” Bryan, their neighbor was also found guilty of felony murder.

The Guardian reported, The three men each stood before the judge, Timothy Walmsley, who read the verdicts to the courtroom before remanding the defendants into custody. They face life in prison and will be sentenced at a later date with the court deciding whether any are eligible for parole.

The McMichaels defense attorney will allegedly filed a motion for a new trial next week according to Fox.

The trial against these three men was in general far less controversial than the Kyle a Rittenhouse trial that happened at the same time.

It seems as though most Americans tend to agree with the outcome of this trial as opposed to the Rittenhouse trial.

President Joe Biden commented on the Rittenhouse verdict, giving condolences but reinforcing the decisions. This is a stark contrast to his reaction on the Arbery murder trial. Biden praised the verdict this week.

“Mr. Arbery should be here today, celebrating the holidays with his mother, Wanda Cooper Jones, and his father, Marcus Arbery. Nothing can bring Mr. Arbery back to his family and to his community, but the verdict ensures that those who committed this horrible crime will be punished,” Biden said.
