The left pushes a narrative that claims, that black people cannot possibly be racist due to the fact that they themselves are held down by the system.
This applies to all black men and women. Of course except for those black men and women who happen to be republicans or conservatives. Then they are racist by default.
Fox News reported: Rep Burgess Owens R-Utah, called out the Salt Lake Tribune for “woke racism” after the paper published a “pathetic” editorial cartoon comparing him to the Ku Klux Klan that has also irked fellow Utah Republican lawmakers. “
Owens grew up in a country that was plagued by Jim Crow laws and the Klu Klux Klan. It is quite ironic that the media would now liken him to the KKK
Fox News also reported “His great-great-grandfather Silas Burgess came to America shackled in the belly of a slave ship, Owens said. He was sold on an auction block in Charleston, S.C., to the Burgess Plantation. A young Burgess managed to escape slavery through the Underground Rail and grew up to be a landowner and leader in his West Texas community, founding a Black church and elementary school. “
Owens went as far to say that he had no interaction with white Americans until he was aged 16.
A tragic tale that is true for so many black Americans born into that age, and yet in today’s age they are likened to their past oppressors due to their political affiliations.
It is truly horrifying.
